Dwyane Wade happy with Rehab on knee

Dwyane Wade expects to back in time for the Miami Heat opener against the Boston Celtics. His recovery from the knee surgery that ailed him during the playoffs is right on schedule.
“I feel good..Rehab is going very well,” Wade told The Associated Press. “I’m happy with it. I’m more encouraged than I was, obviously, when I knew I had to get surgery. So I’m happy.”
Wade flew to London last week for a promotional appearance for his long time sponsor, Gatorade in the NBA House and the Sports Science Institute. While in London, Dwyane plans to visit the Olympic facilities and enjoy some of the game while already planning to watch the US-Japan Women’s Final for the Gold Medal on Thursday, track and field and of course Basketball. The trip to London could be a bitter-sweet vacation for the All-Star, because without the injury to the knee, he would be on the USA Men’s Basketball team defending the Gold Medal that he was huge part of in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
The way he was walking around London, it would be tough to guess he had surgery a month ago. (AP)

When asked if there would be any chance that USA would not get gold Dwyane said “No, no, simple as that.”
After Wade leaves London, he is planning a couple business meeting in Switzerland and then will be heading back home for the release of his book about fatherhood on Sept 4th. He will be rehabbing through the whole process of the book tour and is confident that he will be back by the start of the Miami Heat training camp and is close to 100% when they open up against the Boston Celtics.
